Jeremy Lloyd lives and writes in the Great Smoky Mountains of East Tennessee. He teaches on the faculty of Great Smoky Mountains Institute at Tremont, an outdoor school dedicated to connecting people and nature in Great Smoky Mountains National Park, where for over twenty years he has designed and facilitated immersive, weeklong experiences for learners ages nine to ninety. He predominantly works with college and adult learners, teaches several courses in the Southern Appalachian Naturalist Certification Program, and is co-director of the Tremont Writers Conference.

He is currently seeking representation for a manuscript (complete at 110,000 words) that is a blend of memoir, natural history, and adventure.
